I am a South Sudanese diplomat, author, and poet.

My work sits at the intersection of public service, literature, and reflection on nationhood, culture, and belonging in societies in transition.

I am the author of two poetry collections, No More Betrayals and Kindred, and I write essays on language, sovereignty, women, memory, and the everyday moral questions that shape public life. My writing is grounded in lived experience and attentive to the quiet ways power is exercised—through policy, culture, and what communities choose to protect.

This site is an archive of selected essays and reflections written over several years.
